ABOUT ITI\u2019s (INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTES)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial Training Institutes (ITI\u2019s) are pioneer in the field of technical education which provides the basic skills to an individual to become self reliant in the trade they choose. ITI\u2019s are government-run organisation operating under general guidance of the Directorate General of Employment and training (DGET), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Union Government of India. Courses in these Institutes are designed to impart technical knowledge to the youngster and offer training in Engineering and Non-Engineering technical field such as welder, carpentry, Draughtsman civil, stenography, dressmaking, COPA, hair and skin care, fruits and vegetable processing, etc.. Trade test or qualifying test for ITI trainees are also common i.e. All India Trade Test (AITT). The above process is applicable from the age limit of 14 years to 40 years. ITI Tradesman completed candidates can undergo Apprentice Training in different industries also. <\/p>\n\n\n

  • Drawing plants by using AUTOCAD<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Making of 3D models of civil\u00a0 work<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Giving lineout at site, supervision of civil work, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • Draughtsman<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Surveyor and land surveyor shall be available in Central and State Govt. Depts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • C.P.W.D., Military , TCP, PDA, PWD, Housing Board etc,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Private sectors opportunities shall be as Draughtsman, Construction Supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Self Employment option:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • The trainee shall be able to independently undertake planning, drawing, estimation and costing and supervision of civil construction materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        2). WIREMAN<\/strong>                                                                                                                       2 Yrs Course<\/p>\n\n\n\n

         8th<\/sup> passed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Skilled in industrial and domestic wiring, rewinding fractional HP motors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Repair of Electrical equipment and Machinery<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Servicing and repairing of table fan, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, hair drier, water pump, washing machine, AC\/DC generator, etc relays used in AC\/DC circuit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Estimate last of different types of wiring used industrial wiring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          • Work as a lineman\/wireman\/electrical contractor\/electrical maintenance foreman in Private Industries and Govt. Sector.\n

              3). STENOGRAPHER<\/strong>                                                                                                             1 Yrs Course<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              Eligibility:<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                              10th<\/sup> passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              Skills acquired:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Trainee shall acquire speed 80\/30 wpm and100\/40 wpm in shorthand and typing respectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Knowledge of computer fundamentals, operating system, MS Office, Windows, introduction to Networking, Photoshop, DTP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Skill of inward and outward, filling and mailing, drafting letter shall be acquired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
