It is with immense pleasure and a deep sense of gratitude; that I address you all through this message from the Principal’s Desk. As we stand on the threshold of yet another academic year, I reflect on the remarkable journey of ITI Ukhrul, which has been serving the community with a shared vision for the future. Today, we proudly stand as a beacon of quality Skills Institute in Ukhrul.
Industrial Training Institutes are under the administrative and financial control of the State Governments. Particularly in the area concerning common policies, common standards and procedures, and the training of instructors and trade testing are the responsibility of the DGT.
The ITI has been striving ahead in this technological age hand holding the youth across the country and at the same time ensuring their digital skilling and industry readiness.
“All of us do not have equal talent. But, all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents” I too believe that all of us may not be good at the same thing but we definitely are good at something. Hence, it is our duty to find that “something” and give our best to achieve our dreams. Today, education means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and values which will together improve the employability of the trainee.
The selfless contribution of our instructors and other staff to help a trainee build his/her career may not make each and every one of them a leader, but it will definitely help in building a strong foundation for the trainee. The positive response and enthusiastic participation from the trainees in all the activities will surely bring applause to our Institution.
