Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Ningthoukhong, Ward no.13,P.S. Bishnupur P.O. Ningthoukhong, Bishnupur District, Pin code-795126, Manipur was established and started in the year 2003 and is controlled by Directorate of Craftsmen Training, Dept. of Labour,Govt. of Manipur. It was established under PM Pakage No.DGE&T 2(4)/2001-CPIU/NFS,Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour DGE&T for development of ITI’s in North Eastern and Sikkim. The main object for the establishment of this ITI is to impart vocational training course and skill to the youths of Manipur and to generate employment in Industries,Govt. Sectors, Public Sectors/ Co-Operations and self employment.

At present the institute is offering 7(seven) trades (1) Computer operator and Programming assistant (COPA)  (2)  ICT& SM  (3) Secretarial Practice  (4) Welder  (5) Draughtsmen Civil  (6) Embroidery and Needle Works  (7) Carpenter(8) Surveyor ,  wilth a sitting capacity  136 nos. of trainees under State council of Vocational Training(SCVT). The Institute has a regular staff strength of 19(nineteen) numbers out of which 1(one) is Principal, 10(ten) is teaching staff and the rest are non-teaching staff. The Institute is located in rural area and has its own campus with an area of 30 acres and can be easily reachable by road.  Ther are two separate hostels , one for boys and one for girls within the campus. All the trades are well equipped and training are done in full swing with upto date technologies.
