Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Senapati is a premier vocational training institute established on 28th October 1974 in Senapati. The institute was established with the objective of providing technical and vocational education to the youth and developing skilled manpower for industrial growth, self-employment, and nation building.

The institute operates under the Directorate of Craftsmen Training, Department of Skill, Labour, Employment and Entrepreneurship (SLEE), Government of Manipur, and implements the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS). The institute code of Govt. ITI Senapati is GU14000007.

Govt. ITI Senapati offers both Engineering and Non-Engineering trades aimed at equipping trainees with practical skills, technical knowledge, and professional competence required in various industrial and service sectors. The institute presently offers 1 Year Stenographer and Secretarial Assistant (English) (Non-Engineering Trade), 1 Year Wood Work Technician (Engineering Trade), 1 Year Welder (Engineering Trade), and 2 Years Wireman (Engineering Trade). All the trades are affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) under the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. Each trade has a seat capacity of 24 trainees per academic session.
